I really think that's sort of a myth...

I bet if a non fan who never saw the show rated the seasons for "darkness", "politics" and "comedy" using some sort objective scale, the seasons would rate out pretty consistently across the board.

I mean it almost got cancelled after season 1 because it was too dark. "Sometimes You Hear The Bullet" was season 1...So was "George"...

I actually think I like the last few seasons best....
